My book is a silent companion

black on white, to read, reread, and continue. The content is static and everything stays in the same place, unchanged and easy to find (via bookmarks). The book represents what is very important to some of us:
Easy to carry and therefore available anywhere when needed.
You can touch it and easily find any part of the content.
It can be read without the internet, without electricity, without a PC, tablet, or smartphone.
And last but not least, I can add notes and mark important passages with a highlighter or sticky note.

But this website is alive

It breathes, develops further, gives space to my voice, new impulses, perhaps even encounters.
Together, we can create something alive here.

Some people prefer listening to reading.

Some people just need a thought at the right time. Others are simply looking for a place where they don’t have to hide.

That’s exactly what this site is for. The content will gradually be supplemented with the corresponding audio files. Listening in a relaxed manner can also be very enjoyable.

What the book offers

A journey in words. Honest. Clear. Personal.
My book tells my story—not as a heroic tale, but as a journey through the fog.
It is aimed at people who are affected themselves, at relatives, friends—and at anyone who is beginning to look behind the façade of addiction.

Chapter by chapter, I invite you to pause, to understand, and perhaps even to find yourself.

What else the website can do

Movement, encounter, voice.

This website is not just about reading. Here you can hear, see, and feel.

I offer audio recordings—with my own voice. Videos, inspiration, and perhaps even personal readings and online meetings will follow later.

Some people need silence. Others need sound.

This site is open to both.

How the two work together

The book as a foundation – the website as a way to move forward.

For me, the two belong together.

The book remains unchanged. The website lives on and evolves.

Some chapters are given an additional voice here, while others may be given a new image or a thought that was added later.

You can read first – or listen first.
You can come back. And continue again.

That is the idea behind both.

Why I always want to add something new

Because change also means development for us. Each of us is currently at a certain point in our lives. From there, we can move forward at our own pace, in a way that is healthy and good for us at that moment.

This page is not a finished project. It may change—just as you may change if you engage with it. None of us has to change, but if we feel the desire to do so, then we can go ahead.

In the near future, I would like to slowly expand this site with audio files, thoughts, videos, and readings.

Not perfect, but real. Content that comes from me or, over time, from all of us.

Because sometimes that’s exactly what’s needed: a new, open, honest voice at the right time.
